DataKortex ("we," "us," "our") is a data analytics consulting and digital products business operated as a Dutch eenmanszaak by George Orfanos. This policy explains what personal data we collect through datakortex.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it.

2. What data we collect
2.1 When you make a purchase
When you buy a digital product (a dashboard template or a predictive tool access key), we collect the information needed to process your order and deliver what you've bought:
- Name, email address, billing address
- Order details (product purchased, price, date)
- Payment is processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe / WooPayments) — we do not see or store your full card details ourselves.
2.2 When you contact us
If you use a contact form on our site, we collect whatever information you provide in that form (typically name, email, company, and your message) in order to respond to your inquiry.
2.3 When you use our predictive/scoring tools
We do not store the data files you upload. When you use a tool that asks you to upload a CSV (for example, to receive cancellation or churn probability scores), your file is processed entirely in memory on our server, and the result is sent back to you immediately. Your uploaded file is never written to disk and is discarded automatically once the request completes.
We do retain a record of your access key and how many uses remain on it, so we can enforce the number of uses you've purchased. This record does not include the contents of any file you upload — only the key itself and a usage count.
3. Why we process your data

4. Third parties who process data on our behalf
We use a small number of external services to run DataKortex. Each only receives the data necessary for its specific function:
- Payment processing: Stripe / WooCommerce Payments — handles your payment details directly; we never see your full card number.
- Website hosting: Hostinger — hosts datakortex.com and our WordPress database (orders, contact form entries).
- Scoring tool infrastructure: Render (application hosting) and Upstash (access key storage) — process requests to run the predictive tools; as noted above, uploaded file contents are not stored by either service.
- Email delivery: sent via our website's own mail system, to deliver order confirmations and access keys.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, for any reason.
5. International data transfers
Some of the services listed above may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this is the case, we rely on providers that maintain appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.
6. How long we keep your data
- Order and invoice data: kept for as long as required by Dutch tax law (currently 7 years).
- Contact form submissions: kept only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, then deleted.
- Uploaded CSV files for scoring tools: not retained at all — discarded immediately after processing.
- Access keys and usage counts: kept until fully used or until you request deletion.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe your data has been mishandled

8. Cookies
Our use of cookies is covered separately in our Cookie Policy, managed through the cookie consent banner shown when you first visit the site.
9. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for business and professional use and are not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time as our services evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be reflected here directly; we encourage you to review this page periodically.
